Paul's Work

During my time as a motoring writer, I’ve had the chance to contribute to a number of publications in Australia and around the world.

My experience covers print, web, video and radio. This section of the website includes samples of my work across a number of mediums. You can navigate between each section using the links below.

My work has appeared in a number of local, national and international newspapers, along with a number of lifestyle, airline and automotive magazines. See some of these samples below.

Most of my motoring work appears online. I’ve contributed thousands of articles to motoring sites around the globe, with the majority of my work appearing on the and websites while I worked full time as an investor and a Senior Road Tester.

I have produced and presented over 1000 pieces of automotive video content, including some pieces of content that have become viral videos. You’ll find several examples below.

I have over a decade of radio experience both in pre-recorded and live interviews, along with experience co-hosting a live radio show that was broadcast nationally in Australia.

Over a three year period I was the motoring expert for 3AW, 2GB and 4BC and conceptualised and co-hosted the CarAdvice radio show on the Macquarie Radio Network, which was number 1 in its time slot.

I also conceptualised and co-hosted the CarAdvice podcast, which debuted at number 52 on the iTunes podcast chart globally and became the number 1 rated podcast in the Automotive category.

Macquarie Radio Network

Originally co-hosted by Steve Price, Paul Maric and Trent Nikolic, the CarAdvice radio show moved to be hosted by John Stanley in 2019. During its tenure it was #1 in its time slot.

Conceptualised as a weekly podcast with automotive content and news, the show was originally hosted by Mandy Turner and Paul Maric, before going dormant at the end of 2019.
